GoRVing.com
website design
The RVing industry has long been associated with images of retirees, driving oversized beige vehicles to national parks. And that’s basically what was reflected in GoRving’s consumer facing website at the time. So when they came to us looking for a way to appeal to a new generation of millennial travelers, we knew they needed revolution, not evolution.
For millenials, the RV lifestyle wasn’t about the RV at all, but rather the immersive experiences that traveling this way can provide. So we decided to spin the camera around and have the imagery show all of the gorgeous views and amazing adventures that they could be a part of.
Visual energy
We layered on visual elements and animation that give a sense of movement and energy, and infused the supporting graphics with a brand new high contrast color palette. Beige be gone.
Virtual showroom
A suite of interactive 3D RV models allowed them to learn about the different types of vehicles and explore the interior & exterior features without ever leaving their couch. Instant gratification.
Wanderlust appeal
We gave them easy access to all of the inspo they could handle — videos, blogs, articles, influencer series and insta-worthy photography — and served it up in a clean and easy to navigate component that would prevent overwhelm.
RVing 101
We knew we were going to need to get past some of our audience’s preconceived notions and logistical concerns in order to get them to take this leap. We elevated practicality and budget content that tackled the unknowns head on. Barriers begone.
The finished product was a site that made RVing look like an adventurer’s preferred way to travel. No sleepy retirees here. And it worked! After launch, GoRVing saw a 560% increase in site sessions, a 10x increase in dealer searches and a ton of interaction with our content. Working on it was an absolute blast.
